Slow fashion is a concept opposed to fast fashion that advocates the manufacture of clothing with respect for the environment, animals and people who work on the production line. Slow fashion is a less intensive production, in smaller quantities or in pre-order, taking all the time necessary to develop a garment using the most responsible materials possible.
It is an alternative to fast fashion that is characterized by the very rapid renewal of clothes offered for sale, several times a season, or even several times a month. In short, slow fashion means privileging the quality of the garment over quantity.
